I offer Shamanic Counseling Services in Boise, Idaho. During shamanic counseling sessions, clients are trained in shamanic journeying for themselves. The client is gently guided through a series of journeys in order to ask questions and seek guidance about specific areas of their life. Shamanic Counseling is differnet from Mental Health Counseling. My methods do not refer to psychological terms nor attempt to treat psychopathyology. The real counselors are the spiritual teachers the client encounters while journeying. I am there to teach the method and support the client throughout the process. My academic backgound is in Wildlife Biology. My Shamanic Counselor training is through the Foudnation for Shamanic Studies.

OWEN MARCUS, MA 30 years of study and practice in shamanism has given me my best healings, along with huge joy from helping others to do the same. I began my study with Nelita Anderson, a Medical Kahuna from Maui and the Big Island. From Nelita I progressed into studying and practicing shamanism with Native American medicine people. This led me into traditional ceremonies from Sweat Lodges, Vision Quests and Sun Dances. From participating in the ceremonies, I advanced into leading a professional trainings, Vision Quests and Sweat Lodges as initiated a pipe carrier. This journey has deepened my relationship with Spirit and my trust that He/She and the Four Worlds are the only healers. As I continue to work with my clients, students and groups, I direct them into deepening their own connection with their Creator and the Four Worlds. My phone work with clients comes in the form of Shamanic Coaching tm. Here I bring all my training in and experience from psychological and corporate arenas to meld with my shamanic abilities. My intent is to create pragmatically grounded coaching that amplifies the change with the inclusion of shamanism. My clients are often people who have never had any experience with shamanism, but want change. Their ease of achieving success blows them away and gets them turned on to the other realms of existence. For me being a person that introduces them to their bigger self is my greatest pleasure.
