Preservation and transmission of authentic Celtic shamanic practices through partnership of Celtic academics, advanced shamanic practitioners and native Celtic communities, culminating in published works, study programs, workshops and advanced training. The goal of Eolas ar Senchais is to revive ancient indigenous Celtic beliefs, cosmology, and learned and ecstatic lore from Irish and Welsh wisdom texts, and to preserve native Irish, Scottish and Founder and director Sharynne MacLeod NicMhacha has studied Celtic languages and mythology through Harvard University, and has presented work at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, University College Cork, Ireland, the Harvard Celtic Colloquium, Smith College, and the Harvard Study Group on Ancient Magic and Religion. A Faculty Member of the Celtic Institute of North America and a long-time shamanic practitioner, her work has received funding through the Ford Foundation Humanities Series and University College Cork. A professional musician and published author, she also serves as Faculty in Celtic Shamanism at the Omega Institute, Kripalu and Rowe.

Down to Earth — The Shaman’s Circle is the shamanic teaching collaborative founded by Nan Moss, David Corbin and the late Linda Crane. THE EDINBURGH SHAMANIC CENTRE The Edinburgh Shamanic Centre was founded in 2003 by Claudi Goncalves and Mark Halliday. Weaving a beautiful web, the Centre brings together people from different backgrounds, nationalities, spiritualities, races and cultures who share a common vision. We offer classes, workshops, trainings and ceremonies on ancient native ways. Our aim is to empower people and we do that through the practice and teachings of ancient indigenous ways. Ways of dep respect for Mother Earth and all living beings. Over the years the Edinburgh Shamanic Centre expanded to include projects working with youth, supporting children in Africa and Brazil as well as offering complementary therapies. Traditionally, shamans work on behalf of their communities for healing, weather control, emotional and mental balance, to maintain harmony with nature and to insure an adequate supply of food as well as assisting the newly departed souls to move on. Though we live in modern times our communities need the same kind of help. Industry may have changed the landscape but communities still need to live in harmony with their environment as well as maintain a healthy balance in living. Our communities are larger, but that does not mean we leave behind the traditions of healing. It means we need more healers, more shamans, more light workers, and more body workers.
