CCSS is excited to be hosting the Society for Shamanic Practitioners Regional Canadian conference entitled "Shamanism Without Borders". Join SSP Board Member, Martha Lucier and Shamanic Practitioners from across Canada.
In this conference we will explore together how, as Shamanic Practitioners, we can respond to the spiritual needs of those who are suffering in this tremendous time of change. How can we be bridge builders bringing balance back to our world? What does ‘Shamanism Without Borders’ mean and how can we build strong, healthy and vibrant Shamanic Communities, to serve the highest good for the times we are living in?
We will weave together the wisdom from our dreams and journeys learning how to become ‘Shaman’s without Borders’, dissolving that which keeps us separate, coming into love with all our relations. We will co-create ceremonies for healing the land, animals, and people planting seeds of hope, compassion, comfort and healing. As we work together towards a common goal we transcend our individual lives bringing beauty to the world.
Martha Lucier is a shamanic practitioner and teacher of shamanism. Along with her husband Todd Lucier, she has co-founded Northern Edge Algonquin Retreat Centre (www.northernedgealgonquin.com), whose mission is providing experiences in nature that enable us to rediscover ourselves, empower each other and heal our connection to the Earth. As a graduate of the FSS 3-year program and shamanic teacher training with Sandra Ingerman, Martha has evolved her shamanic practice through creating Shamanism Canada, an organization that fosters leaders while growing shamanic community. Martha has hosted Medicine People from all over the world, and has traveled extensively connecting with indigenous healers as a means of rekindling the indigenous Spirit within herself. As a living prayer, Martha is both the weaver and the web and invites others to join her in re-igniting and connecting the sacred flame within us all.
